J.J. Abrams Confirms Script For Star Wars Episode IX
Entertainment News reports that while making an appearance on The Late Show with Steven Colbert, director J.J. Abrams confirmed that he has a script in hand for Star Wars: Episode IX. He also confirmed that principle photography is set to begin the end of July.
J.J. has been co-writing this installment of the Star Wars Saga with Oscar winning writer, Chris Terrio. Terrio won his Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for the movie Argo. He also has writing and/or screenplay credits for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. We will try not to hold that against him.
This installment of the series will reunite John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley, as they have all been confirmed to reprise their roles in the film.
Star Wars: Episode IX is expected to hit theaters in December 20, 2019.
