Hello Nerds!

Fresh off the heels of finally releasing the its Solo: A Star Wars Story film trailer, Lucasfilm has announced that Game of Thrones creators, David Benioff and D.B. Wiess, are going to write and produce a new Star Wars series. It is also stated that this new series will not be related to the ongoing Skywalker series or the new trilogy being developed by Rian Johnson. Detail can be found here. 

With so many mixed reviews from Star Wars fans about the Star Wars: The Last Jedi, I think we can all agree this should bring some new and amazing ideas to the Star Wars cinamatic universe. Jedi's battling an army of the dead, anyone? 

No time frame has been set for the release of these new films, but we can assume nothing will be started until the Game of Thrones series concludes in 2019.
