Black Dynamite Goes Spaghetti Western In The Outlaw Johnny Black!

Hello nerds!

Hands down, one of my favorite films of the last decade is 2009's Black Dynamite starring Michael Jai White. If you haven't seen it, I cannot recommend it enough. Black Dynamite is an action comedy that pays homage to a few film genres of the 70s, while spooifing the ever-loving shit out of them. Most notably, the films the Blaxploitation and action variety. Black Dynamite is a non-stop barrage of jokes, explosions and Kung Fu. I love it and basically, everyone who sees Black Dynamite, loves Black Dynamite.

And so with that being said, I'm genuinely delighted to say the creative forces responsible for Black Dynamite are making another film. And this time, they're going Spaghetti Western. Black Dynamite creator and star, Michael Jai White, has a brand-new production company, Jaigantic Studios, and they're set to begin production on "The Outlaw Johnny Black". From the looks of the teaser trailer, it's most definitely the spiritual sequel to Black Dynamite. Or should I say prequel, as it's set in the Old West?

The Outlaw Johnny Black is about an outlaw (obvs) who is on the run and takes on the identity of a preacher, but as he tries to begin his life anew, he's forced to confront the evil running the town and save the community he now calls home.

If you'd like to help The Outlaw Johnny Black be made, head on over to the IndieGoGo and check out the donation perks. As for myself, I've got my eye on one of the t-shirts, but there are some truly insanely cool perks for those of you who live life on a different level. For the cost of a decent home, you can be in the requisite saloon bar fight scene in the movie alongside every celebrity who has a cameo in the movie or you could get your ass kicked by Johnny himself. Kinda worth it though. Yeah?
