Defenders Convene! A New Trailer For Marvel's The Defenders Has Been Unleashed

Hello nerds!

FOMO, I tell ya. For those of us who were stuck at home during this year's SDCC, the powers that be have released an all-new trailer for the show and it's packed with new footage. From the looks of things, we're in for a great time as Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist begrudgingly come together to take on Sigourney Weaver's mystery villain, who happens to have control of the fresh from the dead, Elektra. 

Not sure why this trailer didn't include The Punisher, especially since the teaser from a couple of days ago seemingly confirms his inclusion in the team. Regardless, we're only a couple of weeks away from being able to binge the shit out of this. 

For pudding, yesterday's SDCC panel for The Defenders featured some big surprises. The entire first episode of The Defenders was shown for those lucky few in attendance and a second season of Iron Fist was confirmed, with a familiar face set to join the cast.

Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb teased that Simone Missick aka Misty Knight is joining the cast of the newly announced Iron FIst season 2. This opens so many possibilities for the show, in terms of character development, which season 1 was kinda lacking. All they gotta do now is bring over the stunt coordinator from Daredevil and Iron Fist could suddenly get very good. 

One of these years, I will attend SDCC so I can witness such events for myself. Getting tickets for it is a real motherfucker.
