Do My Eyes Deceive Me? Vision To Co-Star In The Scarlet Witch Series
Hello nerds!
Romance, witches and androids. Oh my! According to Slash Film, Paul Bettany’s Vision will be a "large part” of the Scarlet Witch series.
So much so, the series could more accurately be called, “Scarlet Witch & Vision”, because it will further explore their relationship. This is yet another HUGE announcement for the forthcoming streaming service. Disney Play will be the clear home of Marvel properties, so what about Netflix?
It seems pretty clear Disney isn’t too bothered about Netflix’s sudden cancellation of both Luke Cage and Iron Fist, as the same fate seems likely for the other Defenders (The Punisher included). In fact, after the third season of Jessica Jones and The Punisher Season 2 are released, I think all of the Marvel shows will be “cancelled” by Netflix. Then these characters will eventually find their way over to Disney’s streaming service.
There’s a whole bunch of shows focusing on Marvel superheroes for Disney Play, with Scarlet Witch and Vision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Bettany, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are set to star in The Adventures of Falcon and Bucky, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki in his own series. So, those of us who are eager for all-new Marvel content, should be well take care of with Disney Play.
And yet another “must see” streaming service is added to the ever growing list.
