Intense Glares And Hyper-Violence Galore. Frank Castle Returns In The Punisher Season 2!

Hello nerds!

In anticipation/celebration of the impending return of Marvel’s The Punisher starring Jon Bernthal, Netflix has dropped the official trailer. And folks, this one’s going to be a bloody good time. Probably more bloody than good based off of the footage.

In the trailer we get a better sense of the plot this time around (Frank’s out protecting the innocent this time round), a look at some of the returning cast from the first season, and more than a few shots of Frank doing what Frank does best. Punishing.

Oo-de-lally, that’s some gnarly shit! I cannot wait for the second season of the Punisher, which very well might be its last on Netflix.

Jessica Jones is the last woman standing from The Defenders, after the cancellation of both Luke Cage and Iron Fist, and her last season’s debut swiftly approaching. So, thoughts start to turn towards the likelihood the Netflix MCU ends up on Disney+, alongside a few shows for some of the Avengers.

For those unfamiliar, Disney+ will be the home for shows featuring Scarlet Witch and Vision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as Falcon and Bucky, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. So, if you’re a fan of the MCU-adjacent Marvel/Netflix shows, be prepared to make the jump to Disney+.

Until then, Marvel’s The Punisher Season 2 will be available on January 18, 2019 on Netflix.
