It's Home Alone 2 Meets Lethal Weapon With An Avenger In The Trailer For Marvel's Hawkeye

Hello nerds.

Marvel Studios has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series, Hawkeye, and it does not miss the mark. In fact, it hits the bullseye of high action, holiday fun.

Following the events of Avenegrs:Endgame, the series Hawkeye picks up with now former Avenger, Clint Barton, reuniting with his kids in New York City for a well deserved Christmas break. And it’s there that he’s also comes face to face with someone unexpected from his past, his Punisher-esque sword swinging vigilante known as Ronin. Only this time, it’s not Clint himself under the hood, but Kate Bishop; skilled archer and fledgling badass. Well, it’s Ronin’s/Kate’s appearance that drags ole Hawkeye back into the fray for one last adventure. And it looks like a ridiculous amount of fun.

And the Christmas setting gives Hawkeye a bit of a special feel. In fact, outside of 2013's Iron Man 3, the MCU hasn’t spent much time in the holiday season. So, it’ll be nice to be able to watch some superhero action in a winter wonderland. Plus, with Spider-Man: No Way Home being set around this time, it’s going to be a busy Christmas season for Marvel fans. Not to mention, the potential for crossovers is wildly huge.

Directed by Rhys Thomas, and Bert and Bertie, Marvel’s Hawkeye starring Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and Alaqua Cox premieres on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.

We sat down and watched some stuff. And then talked about it.

The fifth season finale of Rick and Morty, a trio Thors in Love & Thunder, what to do if facing a zombified Hulk, a look at The Final Girls and the wildly terrible 13 Ghosts, and Glenn Danzig's latest movie might be too teeny to be a flop. Enjoy!
