Greetings nerds!

According to Deadline, The upcoming X-Force movie has landed itself one fucking spectacular writer/director. Drew "By God" Goddard has signed on to write and direct 20th Century Fox's X-Force movie. And there was much fucking rejoicing.

The report also confirms the obvious returns of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Josh Brolin as Cable, and as one would expect, the pair are set to lead the team of "dirty mutant warriors". Just. Wow. 

Look, Drew Goddard has in large parts been involved in bringing us some of the dopest movies and TV shows of the past decade, ranging from writing and directing The Cabin In The Woods to writing and producing The Martian, and producing two little superhero properties for Netflix; Daredevil and The Defenders. Needless to say, the superheroes/anti-heroes of the X-Force are in great hands. Especially, since Goddard is writing and directing the film which should give hime some pretty solid creative control. 

Deadpool himself aka Ryan Reynolds is also going to be serving as a producer on this one alongside Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner, and with all of those creative elements in place, I think we're all in for a real treat.

X-Force is going to be fucking bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
