Recreational Drugs, Aliens, And Dark Humor? Justin Roiland's Solar Opposites Looks Delightful
Hello nerds!
The trailer for Hulu's upcoming animated sci-fi comedy Solar Opposites has arrived, and this show looks wild AF. Which is fitting as it’s from one of the creators of Rick and Morty.
From Justin Roiland, the show tells the story of four aliens, whom after after crash-landing on Earth, decide to give life here a go. As you’ve likely already surmised, their daily lives are chock full of the kinds of Sanchezian-antics we’ve all come to know and love. And the cast of the series is pretty great as well.
Featuring the voices of Justin Roiland as Korvo, Thomas Middleditch as Terry, Mary Mack as Jesse, and Sean Giambrone as Yumyulak, the show also has quite an impressive guest list including Alan Tudyk, Christina Hendricks, Jason Mantzoukas, Tiffany Haddish, Alfred Molina, and Wendi McLendon-Covey.
While it’s entirely possible Rick and Morty returns this April 1st (as is tradition), this series should keep us all swimming in the delightfully depraved and nuanced mind of Justin Roliand for the next few dreary ass months ahead. Which is nice.
All episodes of Solar Opposites will be available on Hulu on May 8, 2020.
