Sir Patrick Stewart Is A Wizard... In The Trailer For The Kid Who Would Be King
Hello nerds!
Written and directed by Joe Cornish, the guy responsible for fantastic sci-fi/comedy Attack The Block, is at it again, only this time it’s kings & wizards instead of aliens. In the trailer for The Kid Who Would Be King, we get a sense of the characters in this re-telling of the legend of King Arthur’s “Sword in the Stone” and the film looks like it will be pretty great.
Alex, played by Andy Serkis’ son Louis, is a plucky lad who yanks the mythical Excalibur from a stone and as you’re expecting, an epic quest is put before him. With the help of the legendary wizard Merlin, played by both Angus Imrie and Jean-Luc Picard Sir Patrick Stewart, Alex has to find his trusted Knights of the Round-ish Table, and together they have save the world from the evil sorcerer Morgana, played by Rebecca Ferguson, and her army of the fiery undead.
The Kid Who Would Be King hits theaters on January 25, 2019.

What Christmas movies to watch when the best ones are gone, the forgotten absurdity of the great Ernest P. Worrell, our best & worst movies of the year, the biggest Jaws ripoff of all-time and unexpectedly seeing the nutsack of a comedy icon. #MethodActing
