Step Aside, James. The King's Man Is Here In A Fantastic First Trailer

Hello nerds!

Who’s ready to go back to the world of fine suits and badass spies?

The King’s Man written by Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn, with the latter serving a director, is a prequel to the films of the Kingsman franchise starring Taron Egerton and Colin Firth. If you haven’t seen them, you should consider doing so. The Kingsman movies are fantastic, and besides being based on the graphic novel, The Secret Service by Mark Millar, they’re some of the most entertaining action movies to have come out in the last few years.

They’re heavy on action and comedy, with a bit of a James Bondian flavor, and both films delighted audiences around the world. And thanks to both films being financial successes, Matthew Vaughn is gearing up to make Kingsman 3, with Rocketman Taron Egerton, returning as Eggsy. Sadly, Kingsman 3 won’t go into production for some time.

So until then, we’ll have to make due with this prequel that looks every bit as amazing as the other films of the franchise. The King's Man starring Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson will be in theaters on February 14, 2020.

As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.
