Hello nerds!

Sony has released the first teaser trailer for Venom starring Tom Hardy. And holy shit, because "teaser trailer" has never felt more applicable. If it weren't for a vast knowledge of pop culture and snacks, I'd literally have zero ideas as to exactly what in the fuck Sony's Venom is about based upon the footage.

Is it a movie about aliens? The paranormal? Medical science run amok? Who the fuck knows? And who even cares because it's Venom! Everyone knows who and what Venom is, so what's the big mystery here Sony? We don't even get to see the shapeshifting lummox from behind or from afar? Give us what we want!

Venom swings their way into theaters on October 5, 2018.
