Hello nerds!

AMC released a trailer for Season 5 of Better Call Saul. And the way last season ended, we should be officially introduced to Saul Goodman, attorney at law, very soon.

When we last saw him in the waning moments of the Season 4 finale, Jimmy McGill had just been approved to practice law again, but he wasn’t so sure about which name to be licensed under. And given how successful he’s been at operating on the edge of law, adopting a new name might be the thing he needs to turn things around. Until it all comes crashing down in a fantastic fashion.

With looks at Mike Ehrmantraut, Gus Fring, Lalo and Hector Salamanca, and the return of none other than that lovable federal agent, Hank Schrader, the trailer is fairly light on details. However, as fans of the world of Vince Gilligan are aware, shit will very much be going down regardless of what the trailer shows.

With Better Call Saul Season 6 being its last, chances are very good our titular hero will have a run-in with the Breaking Bad characters we’d like to see most; Jesse Pinkman and Heisenberg aka Walter White. Plus, let’s hope we see what happens to Saul in his current form, Cinnabon manager Gene Taković.

The fifth season of AMC’s Better Call Saul premieres Sunday, February 23 at 10/9c, and the second episode drops the next night, Monday February 24 at 9/8c.
