The Mind-Flayer Is Not The Big Bad In Season 3 Of Stranger Things? Possible Spoilers Revealed
Hello nerds!
The last few seconds of the finale for the second season of Stranger Things seems to have made it clear the Mind-Flayer would be the villain in the third season. However, the super creepy tease could be a bit of a misdirection. Hawkins, Indiana. The home of weird since 1983.
In an interview with Glamour, when asked about the evil titan of the Upside Down being the villain of the new season, Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy, gives a response which is best described as "cagey".
As if these new evil forces could be worse than Demogorgons, Demodogs or the Mind-Flayer. Am I right? And like I said, Levy's response is downright "cagey". While the giant octopus monster might not be the central villain of the new season, I find it highly unlikely it'll be completely ignored, regardless of whatever new evil our band of heroes take on in the new season.
Speaking of being ignored, it also appears as the ultra-unfortunate Will Byers will be given a bit of a rest from the evil from another dimension when we return to one of Indiana's weirdest towns.
Let's hope the stuff Will has to deal with a more along the lines of learning to shave and less of supernatural anguish. The little fella has had enough. Stranger Things 3 premieres in 2019 on Netflix.
