It sure seems like Haddonfield, Illinois is in for a fuck of a bad night this Halloween, as Michael Myers returns to finish what he started 40 years ago.

For those unfamiliar, from Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, Halloween 2018 is a direct sequel to John Carpenter's Halloween, and sees the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode. Frickin fantastic, right? Well, it gets better as it so happens the first man to don the mask of Michael Myers will return in the 2018 sequel. 

While speaking to BloodyDisgusting, the original Halloween's Michael Myers, Nick Castle, revealed he indeed will return as Michael Myers in the sequel to the 1978 film from John Carpenter. 

I know it's only a bit of voiceover, but it's still pretty frickin' cool. Castle brought such an originality to the slasher film with his portrayal of Michael Myers (in the mask) and he actually got one of his signature moves into the new movie.

Yes, Nick Castle's aka Michael Myers' infamous head tilt is in the film, as evidenced by the still shot below.

Look, we all know "the move". It's a move EVERY person whom has played a silent killer has stolen and used, but can you blame them? It's badass, terrifying and yet it oddly seems to humanize the killer a bit. I can't wait to see Castle return as The Shape alongside Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.  

From the one-shot tracking scene where we'll see Michael Myers do some "trick-or-treating" of his own, Danny McBride hoping he doesn't ruin anybody's childhood, I think this latest sequel to/reboot of the Halloween franchise could be the horror movie we've been waiting for.
