To The Rescue! A New Armored Hero Joins The Fight In Avengers 4

Hello nerds!

Previous rumors have suggested that Pepper Potts will suit up as Rescue in Avengers 4, and now thanks to an image that leaked online, we’ve got out first look at Gwyneth Paltrow wearing the armor. It’s very off the page and awesome as hell.

While this image is a bit of a spoiler, it’s not altogether that big of a surprise. The Avengers are going to need all of the help they can get to fix the universe, so another armored hero sounds like the sort of thing the Earth will need.

Right? Fans of the comics will be all too familiar with armored Pepper, and have been expecting to see Rescue show up eventually. In the comics, Rescue has served as one Earth’s heroes in Tony Stark’s absence, and this would definitely make sense following the brief tease we got of it in Iron man 3. So, it makes complete sense Pepper would don the suit to protect people following “The Snap”. Especially, if Avengers 4 features a 5 year time jump. Someone’s gotta help keep the peace and her name is Pepper Potts aka Rescue.

One day Captain Marvel will return to save the Avengers and restore order to the universe, but until then it’ll be up to the remaining heroes to defend Earth and its people. So for now, we’ll wait patiently for Avengers 4, where Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Spiderman will all be brought back to life. Which is handy, since they’ve each got a sequels on the way.
