It's Mostly Sunny in Gotham City? The Batman Filming Location Revealed

The rumors are that Arkham Asylum is going to heavily feature in The Batman, so it's no shocker that the movie is set in Gotham. But what city will be featured as the home of the Dark Knight? Zack Snyder used parts of Michigan and mainly Detroit for Gotham in BvS, so obviously they're going to film The Batman in sunny Los Angeles. Yup. No confirmation yet, but that's the word from Batman News. 

"Sources tell Batman News that Ben Affleck plans to shoot The Batman in Los Angeles. BOF (Batman On FIlm) has heard the same. "

Ben Affleck hasn't been all that chatty about his upcoming Batman movie, which is kind of odd since it's rumored to start shooting in the spring. Fear not fellow nerds. Big Ben is finally starting to talk about the movie and his involvement, or lack thereof given what he actually had to say.

In an interview with the Guardian, Aff's dropped some potential heartbreak on those who were wanting him to suit up as hero and director for the film. 

“That’s the idea. But it’s not a set thing and there’s no script. If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great I’m not going to do it.”

Say it ain't so Ben. Is he telling us that if the script sucks he's not directing, but he's got ZERO problems starring in it? I'm really starting to get some BvS:DOJ vibes here folks. Maybe it's time to call an audible and let Kevin Smith take a crack at the script. He has been killing it in the DCTVU. What do you think?
