Come Son of Wilson. Kneel Before Cable! Michael Shannon in Deadpool 2?

Per a report from THR, Michael Shannon is the studio's top pick to play Cable in Deadpool 2. I can't say that I dislike Shannon as Cable. I'll just say that I would prefer Stranger Things' David Harbour, who apparently is still in the running.  

“Sources say that Shannon isn’t the only one on the studio’s list but is leading the pack as the top choice at this stage. Stranger Things actor David Harbour is also on the shortlist. Kyle Chandler’s name surfaced last summer but sources say he was never in contention for the role.”

Michael Shannon definitely has the weight to play the seriousness of Cable, and as an ardent fan if the movie "Let's Go to Prison", I know that he can do comedy. What do you think nerds? Who would you like to see alongside Ryan Reynolds and Zazie Beetz in Deadpool 2?
