Coming straight from the upside down. The sheriff from Stranger Things to play Cable?

That's right nerds. David Harbour aka Chief Jim Hopper on Stranger Things could end up starring opposite Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2. Per a report from The Wrap, Harbour is as far into the process as one can get before actually signing on the dotted line. 

“The source also said Fox has screen-tested the actor, who plays Chief Jim Hopper on the Netflix phenomenon, to play the time traveling mutant in the upcoming sequel to the hit film.”

I like Harbour for Cable way more than I do Pierce Brosnan especially if they're going with the war-grizzled not-funnyman to balance Deadpool's zaniness. Personally, I'm holding out hope Harbour plays Bigby Wolf in the rumored Fables movie. Right? He's perfect for it.
