Every Plot In the MCU Will End In Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4
Hello nerds!
Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 are the pinnacle of the 10 plus years we've spent in the MCU and they will be vastly bigger events than we realized. Avengers 3 and 4 will touch upon every MCU plot thus far. My first thought would be "No shit". Second thought is, "Nice".
In an extra included on the Thor: Ragnarok home release, “Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years – The Evolution of Heroes”, Joe Russo drops some seriously intriguing details about the upcoming end to the MCU as we know it.
What in the very real fuck? Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 are currently rumored to feature over 60 marvel characters, as our heroes come face to face the Mad Titan Thanos, which in and of itself is enough for two 3 hour movies. Each. Let alone trying to tie every plot thread we've seen in every Marvel up to that point into Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. They're going to need like 4 hours per film for all of that story and frankly, I'm not sure we're ready for all that jelly.
However, MCU head honcho Kevin Feige takes it a step further and confirms these plots from the previous MCU films will not only be included in Infinity War and Avengers 4. but they will indeed end there as well. Let that sink in and please allow Feige's words put those fears that are rising up at ease.
Love the confidence, but yowzers. Let's hope he's not having a case of the ole hubris. We've known for some time now Infinity War and Avengers 4 would be the final chapter for the current MCU, but the bit about "an entirely new direction for the future" feels ominous. Brace yourselves my friends. The Marvel Cinematic Universe we've loved for over a decade, will be changed forever. Very soon.
Avengers: Infinity War smashes into theaters on May 4, 2018 and the still untitled Avengers will be released on 4 May 3, 2019.
