Fancy A Side Of Hamm & 'Stache W/The Apocalypse? Jon Hamm & Nick Offerman Join Amazon's Good Omens
Hello nerds!
As if I couldn't be more in love with one of Amazon's latest projects, they go and do something like this.
According to a report from Variety, Nick Offerman has signed on to Neil Gaiman's Good Omens on Amazon. The moustache wielding woodworker is set to play a U.S. Ambassador who happens to be the father of the child who may or may not be the Antichrist, and as you will read below, he's quite the fan of the source material.
Fuck yes! Nick Offerman is treasure and having him on this show only makes me want to see it sooner. Offerman joins a more than stellar cast lead by Michael Sheen and David Tennant, and also features the likes of Josie Lawrence, Derek Jacobi, Adria Arjona, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean and Jon Hamm. Yes, super-handsome Jon Hamm and, as if there were any other choice, he's playing an angel. I dig just about anything Neil Gaiman writes, especially a novel he wrote with Terry Pratchett, and having the creator serve as showrunner is just icing on the cake. Good Omens sounds like my kind of weird.
Speaking of weird, here's the first look at the man formerly known as Draper as the Archangel Gabriel. In keeping with the offbeat esthetic of the costumes we've seen for Tennant as Crowley and Aziraphale played by Sheen, Hamm is sporting a very unique look. And like his "Supernatural" counterparts, he's rocking a dope ass trenchcoat.
Good Omens launches on Amazon Video in 2019, with an airing on BBC Two to follow.
