First Creepy And Kooky, Now Animated. The Addams Family Returns In An All-New Movie
Hello nerds!
The Addams Family is back and this time they’ve gone from live action to CGI, and they’re voiced by a fantastic cast.
This new take on the old supernatural family stars Oscar Isaac as Gomez Addams, Charlize Theron as Morticia Addams, Chloe Grace Moretz as Wednesday Addams, Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley Addams, Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester, Bette Midler as Grandmama, Allison Janney as Margaux Needler, and Elsie Fisher as Parker Needler.
From the looks of the trailer, one of the oldest and most wackily-adorable families in all of popular culture is perfect for CGI-animation. Which is fitting, considering The Addams Family first appeared anywhere ever as a comic sctrip. And any film which could fall under the Halloween genre that features the incomparable Bette Midler warrants a viewing. Or two.
The Addams Family creeps into theaters on October 19, 2019.
