I Am Gr...eatly Saddened By This. Groot's Last Words Have Been Revealed.

By now, I'm sure you're all aware of how the events of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War shaked out and likely, you're pretty bummed.
From new Avengers to friends of the Avengers and nearly all of the of Guardians of the Galaxy, fell victim to the great "Thanos"-ing the universe took. And if all of that weren't heartbreaking enough, three of those who fell by the cosmic wayside were particularly shocking; Black Panther, Groot and Spider-Man.
T'Challa's demise was the most surprising given what he means to the future of the entire MCU, but arguably Spider-Man's was the saddest. And Tom Holland was fucking excellent in that scene.
Well, as it turns out, Groot's final "good-bye" weighs even heavier on the heart than that of Peter Parker. Thanks to a curious fan and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, we know the meaning behind Groot's final "I Am Groot".
Just before before he goes Voldemort, his final "I am Groot" translates to one word: "Dad." For those who can't recall, Groot is looking at and speaking to Rocket.
Ah, fuck man. I'm going to need a minute.
I cannot wait to see Rocket reunited with Groot when Avengers 4 hits the big screen. I don't give a shit who says what about how "permanent" these deaths are.
We totally going to see Groot hug his father when he and Rocket reunite on May 3, 2019.
