New Avengers Vs Thanos? Potential Spoilers For Avengers 4 Have Surfaced

It's two captains, a machine of war, an assassin and a one-eyed Asgardian vs The Mad Titan in Avengers 4.

In an interview with Total Film Magazine, the man they sometimes call Cable revealed whom he'd be sharing screen time with during one of his Deadpool 2 side projects; Avengers 4. Interestingly, he name drops quite an unexpected team of Avengers with whom he was on set with. So, without reading too much into his words, let's totally read too much into his words.

“I thought, ‘What the fuck am I doing here?’ Because you’re in a onesie, man. You’ve got to walk around in a onesie and imagine yourself as an actor with some impact.

I’m Josh, who’s got dots on him, and a onesie, and a helmet-cam, and I’ve got Scarlett [Johansson, as Black Widow] right there, and I’ve got Brie [Larson, Captain Marvel], and Don Cheadle [War Machine], and [Chris] Hemsworth [Thor], and Chris Evans [Captain America], and [Robert] Downey [Iron Man]… I’m sitting there and I’m looking like I look, which is not 700lb and purple and eight feet tall.”

Thanos will be squaring off with the "New Avengers"; comprised of Black Widow, Iron Man, War Machine, Thor and both Captains (Marvel and America). What in the very real fuck? Avengers 4 is already off of the proverbial chain. Can you imagine Thanos taking on that squad? Are they the only survivors of Infinity War? So many questions about who lives and who does not, but I think I'm glossing over the most exciting bit. Captain Marvel is here to save the Avengers. 

Captain Marvel is one of the heroes I've been waiting years for and never really dared dream to see. Her arrival in the MCU is long overdue, and the epic tapestry of stories she brings with her are prime material for Phase 4. Not to mention that, per Marvel's Kevin Feige, she's the most powerful superhero in the MCU. So, fuck and yes to any and all news of Captain Marvel in the movies. 

I've still got a hunch we first see Carol Danvers in one of the post-credits scenes of Avengers: Infinity War, but if I'm wrong then let the days until March 6, 2019 be pleasant.
