In All The Best Ways. The First Trailer For DC's Birds Of Prey Is Effing Ridiculous!

The first trailer for Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is finally here, and it does not disappoint. At all.
From the looks of it, director Cathy Yan is leaning into Gotham’s unique brand of lunacy and grittiness with this film. Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) really seems to be more like her animated counterpart on DC Universe, which is a welcomed sight.
Plus, we see a hint of how much ass the rest of the Birds of Prey can kick with shots of Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez). And while there isn’t too much from the villains in the trailer, we do get a sense of just how dangerous Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) and Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina) will be.
Between James Gunn’s Suicide Squad, Ezra Miller’s The Flash, Robert Pattinson as the new Batman, Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, it really looks like the DC live action movies are headed in the right direction. Let the Gotham times roll!
