It's A Rey-tcon? The Teaser For Star Wars Episode IX:The Rise Of Skywalker Is Here
Hello nerds!
The first teaser for J.J. Abrams Star Wars Episode IX, curiously titled, The Rise of Skywalker is here. And it is FULL of surprises. Truly.
We see Rey doing some of the coolest Jedi shit ever, Finn, Poe Dameron, General Leia, Kylo Ren, and none other than Lando Calrissian flying the Millenium Falcon with Chewbacca serving as co-pilot. Sadly, while we don’t see the Jedi Master himself, Luke Skywalker, we do hear his voice. Oh, and while catching a glimpse of the remnants of one of the Death Stars, we hear the melodically maniacal laughter of one Darth Sidious aka Emperor Palpatine.
What the very shit?!
With a year in between films, it looks like the Resistance and the First Order have been very busy since the events of The Last Jedi. And with the return of Luke, Leia, Lando and a few others, the closing chapter to the Skywalker saga should be stellar.
Star Wars Episode IX:The Rise of Skywalker blasts its way into theaters on December 20, 2019.
