It's Muggle Kids At Hogwarts Vs Underground Monsters In Simon Pegg & Nick Frost's Slaughterhouse Rulez
Hello nerds!
If there's one thing that can be surmised from the trailer for Slaughterhouse Rulez, it's that Nick Frost and Simon Pegg make great films together. Regardless of whether in front of or behind the camera. This time around, it's both.
This movie was made by Stolen Picture, Pegg's and Frost's film and TV production company, and from the looks of the trailer, it's worth a trip to the cinema. This coming of age horror-comedy looks like it would be at home right alongside the films of the amazing Cornetto Trilogy, and for good reason.
Crispian Mills, who wrote and directed the very underrated Simon Pegg film, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, is back in those same roles for Slaughterhouse Rulez. Plus, being under the guidance of the nerd icons that are Pegg and Frost, I think can add Slaughterhouse Rulez to the list "Films to see in 2018".
Shit yeah man! To be honest they had me at Michael Sheen, Nick Frost and SImon Pegg. However, even if they weren't in the movie, I'd still want to see it. The trailer's got a real Harry Potter/Attack The Block vibe and I dig it.
Slaughterhouse Rulez starring Michael Sheen, Asa Butterfield, Finn Cole, Hermione Corfield, and the beloved Nick Frost and Simon Pegg is set for a Halloween day release in the UK.
Let's hope this one hits theaters in the USA before the end of the year.
