It's Nicolas Cage As A Greataxe Wielding Paladin In The Insanity That Is Mandy

Who's got two thumbs and brand-new film that looks amazing? Nicolas Cage, that's who, motherfuckers! Apparently, all our belovedly-deranged Mr. Cage required to again receive praise for a film he stars in was a chainsaw and a cult of religious wackjobs to use it on.

For those unaware, Mandy written and directed by Panos Cosmatos, and starring Nicolas Cage and Andrea Riseborough was the a big hit with critics who saw it at this year's Sundance Film Festival.   

And so, here's the trailer for what I’m sure will be one of my all-time favorite films.

FUCK YEA! Tell me this film is NOT Nic Cage as Paladin; Chaotic neutral style. We've got full Rage Cage vs a cult? I can just go ahead and pre-order this thing on Blu Ray because there is zero chance I won't own this and watch it on a weekly basis. 

Admittedly, I ADORE Nicolas Cage movies. I do. He is a master of his own unique brand of acting and he is always entertaining; even if it's detrimental to the quality of the movie he's in. But I mean, that's kind of the point of hiring the guy. Right? And let's not forget, that the man also has turned in some truly great performances. Afterall, not that it should matter, but he is an Academy Award winner. So, if you think about it there's really no downside to Mandy. Well, it's not available for purchase yet, but other than that, we're golden. 

Mandy is in Theaters September 14, 2018.
