The Return Of The One Shot? Far From Home Blu-Ray Release Has A Spider-Man Short

Hello friends!

In the build-up for the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man:Far From Home, director Jon Watts has confirmed a good portion of some of the most exciting scenes in the trailers, won’t actually be in the movie. Instead, he seemingly let slip these will be part of “its own little short film". In other words, it the Marvel One Shot could finally be returning.

In an interview with ComicBookMovie, Watts details exactly what we can expect in the short film, “Peter’s To-Do List”.

Yeah, both of those are actually part of the same montage which is ‘Peter’s To-Do List.’ It’s all the things he has to do before he goes on the trip, which are going to Delmar’s to get a dual headphone adaptor and one of those European travel plugs, he has to go to a pawn shop to sell his Star Wars toys to get money for the trip, he has to pick up his passport, and he has to take down this giant crime syndicate. That’s just the to-do list for someone like him but that will be its own little short film that we’re going to put on the Blu-ray. There are some good deleted scenes.

Nice. We haven’t seen a Marvel mini-movie since 2014’s All Hail The King, so we’re long overdue for a return. Even if a good portion of the footage is stuff we’ve seen, it sounds as though there’ll be a few unseen tidbits sprinkled in.

With Oscorp Tower possibly looming in the background of the first trailer, the impending debut of the Green Goblin, and the return of The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man should be very busy in the future. So, short film or full length feature, we’re going to get all the wall-crawler we can handle.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 2, 2019.
