The Universe Is Expanding. The MCU Is Arrives On Disney+ In An All-New Trailer

Hello nerds!

During yesterday’s game, Marvel Studios dropped a 30-second trailer for their upcoming Disney+ series: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki.

Albeit brief, the trailer is chock full of looks at all three upcoming series. We start with our new Captain America aka The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) training with his shield and doing some superheroics, U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell) making his debut, and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) coming face to face with Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl). Then we shift to some reality-bending zaniness with Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany). Lastly, we get a glimpse of Loki (and Tom Hiddleston) being generally arch.

Thankfully, Disney moved up the premier date of WandaVision, so between that and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, there’ll be plenty of new Marvel content for us to enjoy. After The Mandalorian ended, there’s quite a void to be filled in the streaming services original content for fans of live action that features superheroes or space adventures; not singing.

Marvel Studios' The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and WandaVision premiere this year on Disney+. And Loki hits the streaming service next year.

THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER
Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” The all-new series is directed by Kari Skogland; Malcolm Spellman is the head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this fall.

WANDAVISION
Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this year.

LOKI
In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ next year—2021.
