They Are Venom, We Are Intrigued. This New Trailer For Sony's Venom Is More Like it
Hello nerds!
If Sony's Venom is more like this new trailer than it is the previous, we could be in for a fuck of a good time at the cinema when it comes out.
Sony’s Venom directed by Ruben Fleischer, stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, a reporter who bonds with an alien symbiote and together, they are Venom. As Venom, they'll play anti-hero in this movie and they'll do battle with a handful of other symbiotes and their hosts. Most of which we see in the trailer, most notably Riz Ahmed‘s Dr. Carlton Drake aka Riot. Sadly, there's been no sighting of Woody Harrelson's rumored serial killing maniac, Cletus Kasady aka Carnage, but there's still a lot to really like about this trailer and it serves to stoke the fires of excitement for Venom.
The new trailer features much improved CGI improved and the humor strikes a pleasant tone. Plus, there’s no weird pronunciations of the word “symbiote”.
Much, much, much better. Let's hope the first trailer is more ude to the poor judgement of the ones who made it, than it is the quality of the movie. Venom looks like it could truly build the standalone Spidey-verse, until Tom Holland is done playing Avenger.
Venom swings their way into theaters on October 5, 2018.

The WB/DC films are finally taking a page out of the Marvel book and making some fun movies with Aquaman & SHAZAM, the new season of The Walking Dead is shaking things up with a few major deaths & "talking" zombies and The Crimes of Grindelwald could actually turn out to be a great movie. #InSpiteofJohnnyDepp
