Angels, Demons, And The Apocalypse Are Comedy Gold In The Trailer For Good Omens
Hello nerds!
The first official trailer for Amazon’s Good Omens has arrived and with it, a somewhat hilarious looking story about the end of the world.
Good Omens, based on the novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, is about an angel, and a demon who became reluctant partners in a plan to stop the apocalypse. You see, they've grown accustomed to their lives in the world and don't want it to end. So, they decide to do something about it. And from the looks of the trailer, we’re in for a delightfully weird time.
Between the fantastic looking live-action adaptation of Garth Ennis’ The Boys, and the upcoming Lord Of The Rings show, the evil overlords at Amazon are producing some must-see TV. It’ll be strange to watch a show about angels and demons without a Winchester involved, but I think we’ll enjoy it all the same.
Good Omens on Amazon on May 31, 2019, and for those in the U.K., the series will air later on BBC Two.
