Aquamania Is Runnin' Wild. Official Poster & A Tease For The Trailer Have Been Revealed
Hello nerds!
Aquaman fans the world over can rest a bit easier as we get closer to the weekend and this year's San Diego Comic-Con. You see, the first trailer for a little movie director James Wan is working on will premiere during the WB/DC panel in Hall H. Aquaman is coming.
In honor of the first solo outing for one Arthur Curry, the official poster for forthcoming DC movie from Warner Bros. has arrived and it features Jason Momoa's titular hero surrounded by a shitload of aquatic wildlife.
It's a pretty cool poster. Jason Momoa is about as badass looking as he can be, but he's not the problem. Some of the sharks and stuff surrounding Aquaman have a tinge of a "Sharknado" esthetic, which is fairly troubling given this is the FIRST official poster. Let's hope the trailer and film are in better shape.
And speaking of the trailer, at least James Wan is putting that work in to make Aquaman an amazing movie. The director took to Twitter and gave us a glimpse of what I'll guess is King Atlan doing his best "Free Willy", with whatever type of whale that is.
Oh, and he's wielding The Trident of Neptune. Finally!
Who's hyped for the trailer at SDCC this Saturday?
DC's Aquaman splashes into theaters on December 21, 2018.
