The Doctor Is Looking For A Few Best Friends In The Trailer For Doctor Who Season 11
Hello friends!
Along with a new face, TARDIS and wardrobe, the 13th Doctor will also be rocking a brand new Sonic Screwdriver for the next season of Doctor Who. And now thanks to the official trailer, we know she'll be heading off to see new worlds and new times, with new companions.
Following the Doctor Who panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the BBC has released the official trailer for Season 11 online and in it we see and hear the 13th Doctor as she does what the Doctor does best. Save as many worlds as she can, while having a bit of fun. Well, this time around, Jodie Whitaker's Doctor will be joined a trio of potential best friends in Mandip Gill as Yasmin Khan, Tosin Cole as Ryan Sinclair and Bradley Walsh as Graham.
Let the fun and adventure begin!
All the yay! It's been far too long since we've seen new or old adventures of our beloved Time Lord and from the looks of things, we're in for a great season under new showrunner, Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall. Even if the new season is only 10 episodes. Boo, I know.
However, each episode of Jodie Whittaker's first season are full one-hour shows and not the 45 minute variety we've grown accustomed to over the years. Per the maths, we're in for more screen time for the Doctor and crew in 2018. And THAT is effing fantastic.
Doctor Who Season 11 will premiere this fall.
P.S. Please enjoy the fantastic poster for the new season and the ultra-badass new Sonic Screwdriver!
