Don't Even Trip, Dawg. Here's A Clip From Rick and Morty Season 4
Hello nerds!
If you’ve been looking for new Rick and Morty, then you’re in luck.
Courtesy of series creators, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, we’ve got a clip from the highly anticipated, 10-episode fourth season, and from the looks of it, the show’s super-long absence hasn’t affected the series’ audacious hilarity. Not one bit.
In the clip, Jerry (Chris Parnell) and Morty (Justin Roiland) are launching their own app, seemingly with the “help” of Glootie; a four-eyed, purple alien voiced by Thor 3 & 4 writer/director Taika Waititi. It’s delightful.
Nice.
Speaking of delightful, in an interview with EW, Dan Harmon reveals season 5 is already being written, even though Season 4 is still in work. The reason behind this madness is for the benefit of the fans of the series, as it should remove any excruciatingly long delays before the premiere of Season 5.
Outstanding! I can’t wait for this new season to premiere; it’s been far too long.
And with 70 episodes coming our way over the next few years, here’s hoping we got some more Pickle Rick in the near future, when Rick and Morty returns this November on Adult Swim.
