Earth's Mightiest Heroes Are F*cked. Here's An All-New Trailer For Garth Ennis' The Boys

Hello nerds!

We’re a mere few weeks away from one of the most original, and entertaining comic books of all-time is making it’s live-action debut.

Starring Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as "Wee" Hughie Campbell, Karen Fukuhara as The Female, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, and Tomer Kapon as The Frenchman, The Boys tells the story of a group of superpowered mercenaries who police those who cannot be policed. Superheroes.

When a lawbreaking superhero needs to be taught a lesson, The Boys savagely beat the offending Supe’s ass until they atone for their crimes or die. Sometimes both. Well, a few of the worst people to have superpowers are members of this world’s Avengers/Justice League, known as The Seven. And for those who haven’t read Garth Ennis’ fucking amazing comic of the same name, this latest trailer teases an eventual showdown between The Seven and our intrepid heroes.

As you’re likely surmising, this is one superhero property that is not for kids. It’s going to be very bloody, exceedingly vulgar, ultra-violent, and totally awesome.

Garth Ennis’ The Boys premieres on Amazon Prime Video on July 26, 2019.

Supes have been committing atrocities, which keep getting swept under the rug because they are revered by the adoring public. Billy Butcher recruits The Boys who have all been wronged by The Seven, the world’s most notorious superheroes, to bring them down and stop the corruption. Based on the best-selling comics by Garth Ennis, The Boys is a revenge story where the nobodies take on the somebodies.
