Harbour's Hand of Doom. Hellboy Star Gives a Behind The Scenes Peek!

Hello my nerdy friends!

As we all know, David Harbour is our new Hellboy in the upcoming reboot of the beloved franchise, Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen. Well, the Stranger Things star is pretty adept at the Instagram, so it's no real surprise that in the fashion of so many others before him, he's sharing some of his behind the scenes experiences. This one in particular features Harbour getting a cast made of his arm for Hellboy's Right Hand of Doom.

Right Hand of Doom. 😈

I know. It's so very little to  go on, but that doesn't make it any less exciting. I'll take any form of live action Hellboy I can get. While I'll always pine away for the GDT and Ron Perlman trilogy to have been finished out, it's hard to imagine this reboot will suck given Hellboy creator Mike Mignola is attached and enthused for it and that Harbour really seems to have a great feel for the character. In an interview with Yahoo, Harbour shared his take on Hellboy and what he hopes to achieve and it only makes him more endearing.

[Hellboy] is very rich. I think the films did a certain thing, the comics do a certain thing. Hellboy is kind of a neurotic, messed-up individual who’s destined for a horrible fate. He’s destined to become the beast of the apocalypse. Whenever he shows up and does the right thing, people throw beers at him and show up with pitchforks and he still manages to do the right thing. I think it’s funny and it’s sweet and it’s weird, and hopefully I can bring that to it as well.

It's hard to imagine a more off-the-page comic book adaptation, but I think they might be on the right track. How about you? Are you excited for this movie yet?
