I'm Both Intrigued & Confused By The Final Trailer For The Shape Of Water

Guillermo del Toro's latest film looks to be a deep dive into the realm of fantasy with this final trailer for The Shape of Water. To be honest, until I saw this trailer I really had no idea what this movie was about, but between the footage and plot synopsis, my curiosity has piqued.

In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Rounding out the cast are Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Doug Jones. ”
A Cold War, creature feature with some heart? Yup, this is totally GdT's vibe and I dig it. The Shape of Water opens in theatres on December 8.
