It's Willow. Mr. Ufgood If You're Nasty. Willow Returns On Disney+!
Hello nerds!
Yet another in a long line of eerie prognostications from the podcast has come true. As it turns out, one of my all-time favorite films will return. As a TV show. Which is nice.
During an interview with MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, legendary filmmaker Ron Howard revealed he and Jon Kasdan are working on a new series for Disney+, based on the utterly amazing fantasy adventure that is 1988’s Willow.
For those unfamiliar, Willow was written by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard, and it tells the tale of a young wizard who embarks on a quest to save an innocent child, and the world. And amazingly, Howard seems to indicate the series will be a continuation of the original film, as opposed to a reboot. All the yays.
Fan-motherfrickin’-tastic! Willow is a vastly underrated film, and if you haven’t seen it, please do so. I’ve been dreaming of a sequel for decades, so news of this series is effing fantastic.
I cannot wait to catch up with Warwick Davis as our titular hero, and $5 says they manage to get podcast favorite, Val Kilmer, to appear as Madmartigan on the Disney+ series.

Danzig gets winded, busting a "ghostbuster", a forgotten cinema gem from the 80s, what's been happening on Game of Thrones and how it might end, Han Solo may strike back, and one of the greatest wizards of all-time is returning. #NotGandalf
