Long Live The Queen. Milla Jovovich To Play The Blood Queen In The Hellboy Reboot

Neil Marshall's reboot of Hellboy continues to cast people who perpetually play supreme ass-kickers. Deadline is reporting that Milla Jovovich is set to play the villain of the film, the Blood Queen, and that's about a perfect a casting as you can get.

Milla Jovovich has had a long career of playing pure badasses from such movies as The Fifth Element and the films of the Resident Evil franchise, so she seems a more than natural fit to take on David Harbour and Ian McShane. I cannot wait to see who else is cast in Hellboy, which is indeed now called simply, "Hellboy". Apparently, the colon and "Rise of the Blood Queen" have been dropped from the title.

No matter what this movie ends up being called, there's no way I'm not seeing it. From Hellboy creator, Mike Mignola's, excitement to the super-talented cast, director Neil marshall's practical FX over CGI approach to the film, I think we're in for a great fecking ride.
