No Hellboy Here. He's All Man. The Official Poster For Hellboy Is Dope AF!

Hello nerds!

The official poster for Hellboy is just plain lovely and upon viewing, two things become instantly clear.

Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and director Neil Marshall's reboot is definitely taking more inspiration from the comics than the Guillermo Del Toro films and David Harbour looks like he was born to be Anung Un Rama. All apologies to Ron Perlman.

Oo-De-Lally! This Hellboy pays homage to the original films, while veering to a more comics faithful appearance. The Hellboy from the GDT films was fantastic, but let's be honest, this new version is fucking amazing.

They've added some muscle and increased the overall badassness, in order to take full advantage of the 6' 3" mound of huggable gruffness that is David Harbour. I'm excited to see how it looks when it moves and I really can't wait to hear what Harbour does with the voice. I’ve got chills and we haven’t even seen anything from the rest of the truly great cast.

For those unfamiliar, grizzled elder statesman, Ian McShane is Trevor Bruttenholm aka Professor Broom, and the big bad of the film is the Blood Queen played by eternal badass, Milla Jovovich.

Hellboy smashes into theaters on April 12, 2019.
