Same Suits, New Faces. The Official Trailer For Men In Black:International Is Here
Hello nerds!
The stars of Thor:Ragnarok have reunited in this franchise reboot/sequel of Men In Black and it looks like a shitload of fun.
Sony Pictures released the first trailer for Men In Black International, directed by F. Gary Gray, and we get to see the new faces of the franchise in stars Tessa Thompson (Agent M) and Chris Hemsworth (Agent H), as they try and save our world from an intergalactic threat. Plus, we get a look at the heads of the UK and US branches of MIB, in Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson.
Get ready for more of my money, Sony.
Nice! This movie looks less like a reboot and more of a reinvigoration of the franchise with the nods its predecessors. In case you missed it, there was a painting that showed Agent J Will Smith and Agent K fighting the giant alien-bug from MIB1, and various other aliens from the previous films.
No word yet if either of the old agents will show up in this one, but if they don’t I’m sure the world is in good hands with Agent M and Agent H. And as far as the box office goes, from their superhero work, we know the pair of Thompson and Hemsworth make a pretty kick ass duo, so I’m sure we’ll see these two working together for quite some time. Whether they’re fighting aliens or they are the aliens.
Both Thor and Valkyrie will likely first team back up in Avengers:Endgame, but it’s nice to see the chemistry Men In Black: International stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson have in the MCU is carrying over into this universe as well.
Men in Black: International blasts its way into theaters on June 14, 2019.
