Did Bucky Just Drop A Major Nomad...Err, Captain America Spoiler?
Hello nerds!
Over the weekend at the Rhode Island Comic-Con, Sebastian Stan set off a torrent of rumors that have set the interwebs ablaze. And he did so, using only a sharpie. It's been rumored for awhile now that Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, would no longer be known as Captain America and would go by Nomad for Avengers: Infinity War, and Bucky himself might have confirmed it.
Sebastian Stan signed a Captain America: The Winter Soldier poster for a fan, which happens all the time, but he went above and beyond with some additional edits. The Winter Soldier drew a beard on Steve Rogers' face and added a speech bubble that says "Argh, I'm Nomad.".
Bucky, you better quit playing these little games. Fans of the comics are well aware of Cap's time as Nomad, and the set photos we've seen of a bearded Chris Evans only fueled speculation that Steve wouldn't be going known as the Sentinel of Liberty for the big fight against Thanos and crew in Avengers: Infinity War and the untitled Avengers 4.
If he's not effing around, then Sebastian Stan snuck in a very cool spoiler for the future of Captain America and maybe this opens the door for Bucky or Sam Wilson, aka Falcon, to take on the mantle and shield.
