A Zombie-Filled Field Trip To The Zoo? The Trailer For Little Monsters Is Bonkers

Hello nerds!

After starring in films like Star Wars and Black Panther, Lupita Nyong’o is headed back to the horror genre. Only unlike the psychological thrills of Us, this one’s got a bit of a different spin. It’s a zombie-comedy, which as we all know is the best kind of zombie movie.

In Little Monsters, Nyong’o star as Miss Caroline, a school teacher who is taking her class on a field trip to the safari park. Unfortunately, they couldn’t have picked a worse time, as it seems their jaunt coincides with a zombie outbreak.

And from the looks of the trailer, that’s when the gore-filled frivolity commences. Fans of films Shaun of the Dead, Cockneys vs Zombies, and Cooties are sure to enjoy this one. I’ve got a hunch, I’m gonna love it. Plus, there’s a good chance we get to see Josh Gad be torn to bits by a horde of zombies. So, we’ve got that going for us. Which is nice.

Little Monsters claws its way into theaters on November 15, 2019. Sadly, there is no U.S. release date at this time.

LITTLE MONSTERS follows Dave (Alexander England), a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a serious liking to the fearless schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Lupita Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of the world’s most famous kids’ show personality and competition for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggle (Josh Gad).

One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak. Will Dave rise to the occasion and have a chance at Miss Caroline’s heart, or will the zombies get there first?
