Blade & The Fantastic Four Are Officially Phase 5 Movies
Hello nerds!
As it turns out, not all of the films that were announced during Marvel Studios panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con will be part of the highly-anticipated Phase 4 slate.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige clarified Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder, alongside the Loki, WandaVision, Falcon & Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and What If? shows on Disney+ are the entirety of Phase 4.
For those not keeping score at home, not only does this mean Phase 4 is only 2 years long, but it will also require more than a few trips to the theater to keep up on all the new developments in the MCU. It looks like Disney is really banking on Marvel’s popularity to help make their forthcoming streaming service a success.
So, even though we’ve got to wait a couple of years before we get to see Mahershala Ali staking vampires as Blade, it’ll be worth it. He’ll be in good company with Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, The Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and a potential mutant appearance in Phase 5.
