Well, this hits completely out of nowhere and escalated quickly. According to a report from CNBC, 21st Century Fox has been in talks with Disney to sell its movie studio and that means the Fantastic Four and X-Men characters would return to Marvel.

21st Century Fox is in talks to sell the majority of its assets to Disney, which includes the movie studio. Essentially, this means the Fantastic Four and X-Men would finally come home to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. FUCK YES! Now, these talks have been going on for a few weeks and following a break in negotiations, they're likely to go on for some time.

A business deal of this size is likely going to take way longer than we're all willing to wait to welcome Marvel's first family and our beloved mutants into the fold, but our time is nigh my friends. However, there is a bit of a bummer in that this deal does not include the Fox broadcast network because of anti-competition rules. So, what happens to the mutants on Fox's The Gifted is anyone's guess.

All things considered, we never thought that Sony and Disney could get their shit together enough to bring the wall-crawler home, and we all know how that turned out. Phase 4 of the MCU, or whatever it's going to be called, is already off the proverbial chain. In simpler terms, this shit is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Again this shit is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
