Sweet Christmas! Luke Cage Has Met His Match In The Season 2 Trailer.

Hello nerds!

You may not be able to burn him, blast him or break him, but you can definitely binge him in a few weeks. Well, you might not be able to, but the new villain in Harlem sure looks like he can do whatever the eff he pleases to our titular hero. Yes friends, Luke Cage might be in trouble.

From the looks of the new trailer, not only is the Bushmaster just as indestructible as Luke, but he's also deadlier.

Oh shit! I'm quite looking forward to this new season and seeing how they continue to flesh Harlem's Hero out. Especially with a villian who is an equal match to Luke's invincibility and strength.

Luke Cage Season 1 did have its issues, but they primarily occurred after they killed off one Cornell Stokes aka Cottonmouth,  and things got a little hokey with the arrival of Copperhead.

Arguably, Mariah had to kill Cottonmouth to progress her own evolution into a villain, but they really should've waited another season to do so. Especially given how brilliantly Cottonmouth was portrayed by Mahershala Ali

At any rate, I'm sure we're all in for a hell of a lot of fun when we take a return trip to Harlem this summer. And hopefully, with Luke Cage back in Harlem and Danny Rand watching over Hell's Kitchen for Daredevil, we get that "Heroes for Hire" team up we've been for.

New episodes of Luke Cage will be available on June 22, 2018.

For pudding, check out this badass poster of Luke going all "Atlas".

After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.
